The staff are professional as well as being kind and nurturing. Days are full of wonderful learning & development activities and there is a real emphasis on children being independent, which we love.”

“Our daughter started at Little Haven when she was 10 months old and stayed until just before her fourth birthday. The quality of childcare she received throughout was exceptional. Little Haven provides a warm, close knit and homely environment, with healthy home cooked meals. The children take part in an extensive range of activities – including trips to museums, theatres, and libraries, as well as plenty of park visits and physical exercise. We were always kept updated about our daughter’s progress and given advice as to how we could nurture her development at home. We also found the staff to be extremely flexible; for instance, in catering to her dietary requirements, and accommodating early starts. Our daughter was very happy at Little Haven and has made lasting friendships. We would recommend Little Haven without hesitation.”

“Our three-year-old has been attending Little Haven since she just turned one and she absolutely adores it. Each morning she wakes up and demands “is it nursery?!” with a hopeful face! She has made some lovely friends – the nursery is just the right size to be caring and homely, but big enough that there are children of similar age. The setting is lovely with a great big garden, and the activities are varied and interesting – I have no idea how they come up with such fun, education, and interesting things for them to do. Before Covid 19 they used to be out and about all the time – park, library, and great trips like when they went to the fire station (she still talks about this over a year later!). Even when this has not been possible, they have still managed to make the day interesting and varied. The team are caring and supportive and “get” that parents have work and other commitments, and they play a role in supporting this, being remarkably flexible. I would not hesitate to recommend the nursery.”

“If you are looking for a nursery in the area, look no further, you have found the perfect nursery in all areas from personnel, location, activities, caring and a great space.
Interestingly, when we describe his care to other friends with similar aged children it is clear that Little Haven’s offering is far superior. Very importantly, Little Haven go the extra mile to introduce new, exciting and fun ways for the children to learn the fundamentals that you would expect. Often my wife and I are surprised at what our son has learned.”
